About Us
American Physical Therapy Network (APTN) began delivering comprehensive, cost-effective and high quality network management services to physical, occupational, and speech therapists in 1993. Our first network panel started in the east coast and quickly grew to several states. Today, American PT Network is one of the largest centrally managed, single source contract procurement resource with over 3,500 therapy clinicians in California, Maryland, Virginia and District of Columbia
What We Do
Over 20 years, APTN has offered an array of administrative services to health plans and other payors of health care, as well as a fully credentialed therapy providers network services to many of the major health plans. Membership Benefits
In-Network Contracts - We negotiate with PPOs, insurance carriers, employers, third party payors and other healthcare benefit administrators on a national, regional and local level, creating a platform for opportunities to increase patient access to your practice.
Provider Advocacy - Working on your behalf, we keep you informed of issues that may affect your practice. Contracts are secure, helping to prevent arbitrary reimbursement reductions. We are supported by our members, not by health plans.
Payor/Claims Issues Support - Providing assistance with outstanding claims issues related to your contracts.
Patient Referrals - Patients can easily find your practice profile, website and contact information by searching on contracted payor.

APTN is proud to service solo provider practices or small group practices who do not have dedicated staff members to handle the task of Primary Source Verifications as well as larger practices who need additional resources to appropriately manager the credentialing, ongoing sanction monitoring and payor enrollment process for multiple providers. We have the ability to service hospital or health system owned physician group practices who require credentialing for hundreds of health care providers.

Since 1993, our oldest network offering a traditional CPT code reimbursement methodology. While there is a waiting list for network membership in some areas, we are considering applications for providers in select areas in Maryland and Virginia. Please contact us for membership information.

Established in 1998, our fastest growing network offering a traditional CPT code reimbursement methodology. We are currently expanding our pediatric network and offering special membership pricing and higher reimbursement rates for providers providing autism services.
